Virtual Tutoring is available at no charge to all students enrolled in TN eCampus courses. Tutors focus on the unique needs of each student. Each tutor is a subject matter expert trained to translate tutoring best practices and learning strategies to support students online.
Getting started is easy! Simply follow these steps.
- Access your course by logging in at: https://gotoclass.tnecampus.org.
- Select the Virtual Tutoring link in the right-hand menu shown under Course Resources.
- Choose the type of service from the tutor dashboard
How Does It Work?
With virtual tutoring you can meet with a tutor in a Live Session through an interactive whiteboard. In this collaborative learning environment, students can receive help in more than 150 subjects from Algebra to Zoology (new window).
Students may also Ask a Tutor a Question or Drop off a Paper for Review for assistance offline. Services are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Technology Requirements
Connecting with a tutor is fast and easy. There are no downloads necessary and this service does not require a lot of bandwidth. Virtual Tutoring also complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and is FERPA-compliant.
