*D2L supports many popular web browser versions. Upgrades to the newest version of any browser is not recommended unless there is a compelling reason to do so, such as correcting a security vulnerability. If your web browser is having problems completing certain tasks within D2L, downgrade to an older browser version or download and use another supported browser.

Basic Software Applications
Some courses may require computer software as part of the requirements for the course (e.g., a course in statistics may require a statistical software package, etc.). It is the responsibility of the learner to check specific course requirements and to acquire the software used in their course. Instructors will usually identify unique software requirements in the course syllabus.
