All thirteen of TBR's community colleges participate in the TN eCampus online cooperative which delivers jointly developed programs and courses to students across the system.
The institutions are regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), while some programs have additional discipline-specific national accreditation status.
Need a Course Not Offered by Your College?
Let's suppose you are a Roane State student and need a course to stay on track for graduation. Roane State isn't offering the course, but the course is available through the TN eCampus cooperative. Jointly approved by faculty system-wide, the TN eCampus cooperative gives you access to highly-qualified faculty members from both Roane State and other Tennessee colleges. Some of your online classmates may be attending Roane State like you, but odds are most of them will be enrolled at other schools in Tennessee.
To enroll in the course needed, simply register for it through Roane State's online registration system. Look for courses in the registration system with TN eCampus appearing next to the subject. Section numbers will appear as R50, R51, R52, etc. Accelerated sessions are identified with R01 (for first seven-week session) and R25 (for second seven-week session). Other campuses may use identifiers like TN eCampus (formerly RODP), TN eC or another designation to indicate that the course is offered through the TN eCampus cooperative.
At the beginning of the semester, log in to the TN eCampus learning management system to access your course. Upon successful completion, the grade you earn is seamlessly transferred back to Roane State at the end of the semester and appears on your transcript. Your transcript will not differentiate whether your course was taken online or on campus.
Looking for a Degree Program?
In addition to courses, associate degree programs are offered through the TN eCampus online cooperative. When you apply for admission, you select a "home campus" from the schools shown below. Your degree or credential is awarded by the institution chosen as your "home campus." As part of your online experience, you gain access to highly-qualified faculty members from both your "home campus" and other TBR institutions.
